Hi Everyone, Many of you may know Harrison from working on the docks this summer as one of our port wardens or from past summers when he and his amazing family were members at our dock. I know we are all absolutely gutted to hear about the horrible news and I ask everyone to please keep him in your prayers and help support him in any way possible through this unimaginable battle.
Hi Everyone Hope your all enjoying these brisk mornings on the water. We just wanted to send out a reminder that Hurricane Teddy is headed our way and although it looks like for the most part it’s going to miss us, please be safe on the water. ... For all our members we ask can you to please make sure everything loose is off the dock or strapped down and check your lines/ mooring lines. Better to be safe then get caught off guard. Thanks and hope everyone is enjoying the fall boating. CCBC https://www.google.ca/amp/s/www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5731664
Hey everyone!! We wanted to wish everyone an amazing New Brunswick day weekend!! Hope you all have a great long weekend on the water. Also wanted to give a shout out to some of our amazing local businesses that have supported us this year. A huge thanks to Chelsea Dawn Gilbert and Jim Gilbert and all the crew at Jim Gilberts wheels and Deals for our new carts this year and all the support over the past few years. ... Also to Torque and their crew for all the swag bags they dropped off at the shack. For any members that haven’t picked one up there in the shack. Stop in and see one of the attendants (one per member please) Enjoy the water and the weekend and stay safe on the water. CCBC
Hi Everyone, We hope your all having an amazing start to summer. We just wanted to send out a safety reminder about no wake zones. I know most of us respect the no wake zones but it is up to all of us to educate those who don’t and spread awareness.... Many of our sister marinas as well are experiencing boats passing on plane or slowing down but not slow enough. Remember you are responsible for your wake!!! No wake means IDLE slow down. Also wake travels it doesn’t diminish over time thus the whole width of the river is considered a no wake zone in front of the marinas. Just for reference, CCBC Between the old bridge piers and the no wake buoys, the entire span of the Fredericton Yacht Club, Oromocto Boat Club especially out front and by the gas docks on the main river and Gagetown Marina are all no wake zones. We also ask you to use discretion when boating by smaller community docks along the river as well. With boats and people out on them please be courteous and slow down if your wake is dangerous or damaging. Let’s keep it safe for everyone on the water. We hope everyone is enjoying the heat and we can’t wait to see you out on the water and at the marina. Thanks CCBC
