This year, in support of HeroWork we got involved with a very special project. It was a blast working with 3 other exceptional Victoria based Designers who love what they do and are full of spectacular vision. ***Taryn-Janice & Shawn you three are just incredible - Thank You - for pouring your hearts and time in to this volunteer work together! Conceptualizing the look and feel for the transformation of a former youth detention facility to the now NEW ‘Our Place Therapeutic ...Recovery Centre (TRC)’ was a unique and challenging experience. It has left its ‘mark’ on so many volunteers in so many ways. Now that construction is nearly complete, we can’t wait to see what parts of the initial plan have changed and what was kept or lost, in person. Volunteer driven projects will have adjustments.. we know and embrace this - it’s expected. Counting down to the Big Reveal and feeling simply blessed to have been able to share what we love to do for an exceptional project like this.
