Football Alberta is recruiting a Head Coach for our Women’s Team Alberta for the 2021 Football Canada National Championship. The National Championship will b...e hosted in Sherwood Park at Emerald Hills from July 28 - August 7. The Head Coach will have total control of the on-field part of the team, the team’s schedule, and the final selection of the roster. And will be responsible for the development of the practice plans for the Final Selection Camp, Mini-Camp, and Main Training Camp besides the Nationals. Applications are due by January 22, 2021. There are so many to thank on National First Responder's Day this year, but we want to spotlight football players and coaches who have pivoted their careers to ...the front lines of healthcare. Amidst the chaos from the pandemic, we've seen professional players like Nate Hughes, Myron Rolle, and Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, as well as coaching assistant Alex Charlton shift their focus to helping their communities. Even current football student-athletes, such as Middlebury College's Nate Stewart, who became an EMT after the university send students home due to COVID-19 earlier this year, have selflessly done their part (you can read more about his story here: https://www.mynbc5.com//our-sports-your-story-tac/34229777). Today, and every day, thank you to all first responders for your service!
