Happy (almost) Halloween! Remember to stay safe this weekend. A few reminders for everyone today: We will be closing early tomorrow, October 31st. Our hours tomorrow will be 10:00am to 3:30pm. ... ** We are short staffed today and tomorrow, so please be patient when calling in or arriving to an appointment. We are still booking about a 10 to 14 days out for appointments, therefore if your pet is having a medical emergency, we urge you to contact Vancouver Animal Emergency and Referral Centre at 604-879-3737, Canada West Veterinary Specialists at 604-473-4882, or Boundary Bay Veterinary Specialty Hospital at 604-514-8383. As a reminder as well, we require 48 hours for a medication refill at this time, so please call ahead if you are starting to run low of your pet's medications.

About a month ago, Ash was neutered here at the clinic. Ash's owner noticed he was licking at his incision and was able to fashion a cone out of a paper for him! This allowed for him to still eat, drink and move around well, but also protected his incision site. Check him out lounging and snacking on some hay! This is such a cute and easy way to prevent bunnies from causing any harm or irritation to their post-surgery site. Ash has healed up very well thanks to his owner's quick thinking!
