Even though our DD business is off 96% from last year, in order to protect our drivers we have been avoiding backyard weddings and large parties with pickups requested for after 11PM. I feel sorry for the honest and hard working owners and managers of bars and restaurants who have enforced the rules. I am HAPPY for the banquet hall owners and managers who have been put between a rock and hard place by their wedding customers who do not want to abide by the rules.

BC bars and restaurants that serve booze must now close at 10:00PM. Book your safe rides early because with every establishment closing at the same time instead of staggered times means if you wait until closing time to book a safe ride, you may be out of luck.
