There’s a new scuba diver in the marina!!! OK I’m an old diver sporting a new set of gear .when I started this journey I never imagined it would be 42 years before I got my own set of tanks . So let the fun begin. This time round it’s not about adventure and photography of sharks and marine life its finding dropped valuables off the dock scrubbing boat bottoms and clearing props.

CAPTAINS LOG ; the end of a chapter.....correction a novel , I suspect it will take some time before im back to normal after my mums passing , as always whenever I go to Toronto there is something that I learn or find out about my past . eg. the photo of me as a young boy holding a sailboat that I neither remember having or had seen till the funeral. it would seem that even at the age of 7, I had an intrest in sailboats and sailing.

CAPTAINS LOG; some times life tosses you into an adventure and it takes a while to sort through it and catch your breath....my last 2 trip's were like that.. Id barely got things sorted from the first and i was off on another . hear are some pics from our trip to long island.

Captains log ; may 3 ,2018 : A new sailing season has begun and with that renewed aspirations of a new ship !!! the next chapter in my journey ,and although Im not ready yet I can now see whats on the horizon . and where I wish to end up . In a perfect world where money and social status is not a factor id be flying along in the Mediterainian on my "J class "Topaz , but short of a lottery win thats not gonna happen.... but id happily settle for a 75 ft friendship or a 64 Be...neteau , but they too are a bit out of my financial league so I will happily settle for the next stepping stone in this journey which will hopefully lead me to that magical unicorn . For me that is a Hunter 42 passage ,but alas still out of my reach ,as is the 40.5 and 37.5 ... How ever the legend 35.5.. is within my grasp ,maybe not today !!! but very soon and after countless hours of comparing and considering features and options , is the best choice for me !!! she has a larger kitchen and bathroom & 65 sq ft more living space than i currently have , more room for friends and family and a Dog friendly entrance so even Jacky can get in and out without trouble !!!!
