Let’s talk about the year of the minis program for a moment. Spring is just around the corner and my year of the minis clients are booking their spots for spring mini sessions. The year of the minis is a fun program that gives you a mini session for each season of the year. It’s such a good way to document your family over a whole year and get a good variety of photos from that year. ... There are also a lot of benefits to being a year of the minis client. They get first dibs on photos which means they can pick the best days and times that work for them (It looks like blossom sessions will be almost completely taken by them this year). You can have a variety of different types of sessions. Some can be the whole family, some can be all about the kids. And the biggest benefit that I’ve noticed is how comfortable those kids get with the camera. They do not fight me on photos but rather sit down and give relaxed smiles. It’s probably a combo of them being more comfortable and them knowing there’s a treat in it for them at the end!
