Hey! Since I’ve had an abundance of new followers I think it’s time I officially make an introduction. Put a face to the name ya know?! My name is Hannah! My heart follows the love of family, newborn and maternity photography. It’s my greatest passion, a passion that I’m going to admit is my guilty obsession. I’m driven to create emotive connecting photos for you to love. ... I am a proud mama to two beautiful busy boys. They are the light of my life and they are the reasoning behind the spark of this journey in the photography world. My husband is my greatest supporter and entire world. Aside from photography I work full time as a nurse specializing in geriatrics, I have been in the healthcare field for 10 years starting from the very bottom and worked my way up. In my spare time which these days is not very often! I love to binge watch Netflix and cosy up on the couch with a blanket, I also love the outdoors and exploring our beautiful island... how lucky we are to live in such a paradise! I have days where I struggle with anxiety and feel a heavy weight on my shoulders but it’s somthing i am working through, i am a work in progress but aren’t we all! I am 1 year into my official photography journey and I have developed such amazing relationships with some beautiful family’s in that year. Some of which have been my biggest supporters that have stood by me and believed in my potential right from the start. Remind yourself that your here and you are living. Feel the earth on the roughs of your feet, ground yourself and soak in all its offering. Even when the world feels dark and heavy, we are living within it. Following the light and finding the beauty in the negativity is as powerful as changing the world. Because where we find beauty and respect it; brings change. Change which this world so desperately needs.

133|366 This image is my recent favourite, it speaks to me in so many ways. When I look at it, I see my youngest who is magnetized to myself which is his favour...ite place to be; on my hip. . . I see my eldest with hands on his hips because he feels so grown up and can conquer the world, owning his independence so proudly. . . I see myself, as a mother from another perspective, trying her best to console one child whilst supporting another. When in this moment truthfully felt a little chaotic, seeing it frozen in this frame reminds me that even in the moments when you feel your overwhelmed and don’t have enough hands to juggle the needs of your children... you do and you always will, In ways you don’t even realize. Newborn sessions are more than just me taking photographs. It gives you the chance to really slow down after birth and soak in the love and connection between you, your partner/children and your new addition. It gives you a few hours of reflection, to breath in your surroundings, to feel the emotions. What comes from the session at the end brings endless feelings that you will get to keep for the rest of your life. I know for myself I still catch myself lost within my newborn photos of my babies yearning to be back in that exact moment just one more time

To be truthful, the last week or so I’ve been in quite a social media slump Seeing so much going on on my feed then comparing myself... I know it’s the worst thing to do but sometimes it’s so hard not to do! There’s so much amazing talent out there it’s easy to get lost within it. However I picked myself up and went out with this amazing mama last night to create something that has been sitting in my head for quite some time. 122|366 Yesterday was supposed to be our wedding day. As COVID had other plans for the world it forced us to change ours and post pone. But there was no way it was taking our day away completely, we spent the day hiking a mountain, sharing our favourite meal together and ending it with our own little photo session to document our love. I threw on a white dress in honour of our postponed wedding day and we played in a location close to our home. 120 366 Having two babies within a two year window, you put yourself on hold. You no longer come first as you have two little humans to tend too. I have noticed a big shift in my role as a mother lately. It really just hit me yesterday that with the blink Of an eye we no longer have tiny little babies.
