My favourite thing about the Zoom classes is when participants from other groups in different towns make new fitness friends!!!! Sooo many new fitness friends to join us in outdoor adventures!

MF 54 - What's a girl to do when Races are cancelled?? Invent your own! UltraRunning, the sport of long distance running, also known as ultramarathoning, or, as we prefer, ultrarunning. How far is a long distance? The standard definition is anything past the marathon, or 26.2 miles. However, the shortest standard distance that is considered an ultra is the 50 kilometer distance, or 31.07 miles. Other standard distances are the 50 mile, 100 mile, 100 km, and a series of ev...ents that last for specified time periods such as 6 hour, 12 hour, 24 hour, 48 hour, and 6 days. We have started our Ultrarunning adventure with a 50+ distance!! Laughing, crying, rain - more rain, hail, 100 wardrobe changes, grit, tears, cows, chocolate, singing, champagne, the best volunteers and Pace runners and 3 of the most determined people I know to run this adventure with me. It takes a TON of people to run even a 4 person race! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support us, feed us, share your clothes with us and texting words of encouragement. EXTRA thanks to my own personal pace bunny, Connie Gabrielle, I am sooo grateful you found me and pushed me to keep going! You were EXACTLY what I needed!! Shawna Singular, Karen Briere, Amanda Baron, Amy Richards, Monique, Tace Brown! Thanks for everything!!! I am so proud of you guys!! Sandra Mitchell, Linda Parrish, Jeff MacAloon. I appreciate you pushing me out of every comfort zone I have. I can't wait until our next adventure!!

I am so happy Maureen started coming to my classes! She is always up to try anything new and encourages her friends to try new activities also. TRX, HIIT, walking, weight lifting gardening, step, hiking, snow shoeing, you name it. Always taking care of herself and resting whenever necessary due to small injuries, she returns ready to go with a smile and positive attitude. Maureen works exceptionally hard and makes others feel welcomed into the class, making friends easily. Classes are extra fun when Maureen is there, she is hilarious, thoughtful and caring and I can't wait to see what she had up her sleeve next!

Amy!! What am amazing and interesting woman! She shares my love of travel and adventure and the hip thrust! accidentally hip thrusting close to 300lbs! Amy has participated in several running events, even tho running isn't her favourite, she is a group exersice and spin instructor herself. She was hesitant about the 5:30 am time frame at first but is a dedicated member of our early morning group. Motivation and leadership come easily to her, other members of our group look up... to her and try to emulate her. Amy is an active member in the community and volunteer. She is in it for a lifetime of healthy living and fitness and fun, and works exceptionally hard at finding a balance between being able to care for herself and being a mom, role model and business owner. Your smile and work ethic keep all of us on track at the gym and out!! Weet! Weet!
