Tip: 2 handy ways to use zip ties on construction worksites. Rob's 1st idea is a safe way to connect 2 power cords together. His second idea I'm not so sure of, as he indicates working off ladders, which can be unsafe, especially when the OHSA says, ladders are for access use. Steve (tells it as it is) then points out a zip tie holding a drill on your belt hook might not be a good safety idea (laughter) A great video from the Canadian Contractor magazine. See CC Disclaimer on their article in comments
We held a few harness inspection and fitting classes outside this summer in our Working at Heights practical training portion (before it got to hot) Monica (trainer) is seen here taking the guys through their inspection.
Here's a neat idea on a workplace job site, while using a ladder. Hope he's not working for you with his lack of Working at Heights safety. Crazy and the top books title says "Killing the shadow" maybe more than killing the shadow if he takes a fall.
