An Evacuation Alert has been issued for all of Waterton Lakes National Park due to a wildfire south of the park in the Boundary Creek valley that is currently b...urning out of control. Parks Canada has swept trails and backcountry campgrounds and all backcountry areas in the park are now closed. This Alert notifies visitors and residents to be prepared to evacuate the park if it is necessary. People will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; however notice may be limited due to changing conditions. https://www.pc.gc.ca/apps/scond/Cond_E.asp
