As you've surely heard or guessed, all of Career Trek's programs are now delivered online. This includes the M-Power program, a program designed for young moms to learn career skills and receive mentorship. In an ordinary year, M-Power participants would meet in person, and Career Trek staff would provide childminding for their little ones- called "Pre-School Trek"! In order to provide activities for the kiddos, the Pre-School Trek team provides all of the supplies for a fun,... interactive "Mommy and Me" activity to participants each week. Each activity relates to the occupations that the moms are learning in M-Power lessons that week. They can continue their CT experience through play-based learning with their children at home. Here is Lindsay, who is an M-Power Program staff member, doing one of the activities with her son Forrest. They are building a firetruck complete with lights and a ladder! #careerlearning #handsonlearning
