As a primary care physician, Dr. Salem is very interested in people and what goals they have for their health and care. With a background in health care research, critical care, pain management, and family medicine, Dr. Salem is well qualified to provide the best care possible for people with complex health issues. Being a fath...er of 3 active young children, he also knows how important happy, healthy children are to families. Dr. Salem comes to us with a 14-year history of family practice, 3 of which were in BC. He is a graduate of University of Tripoli and is an active member at the College of Family Physicians of Canada, Canadian Medical association, and the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. After coming to Canada, Dr. Salem continued his studies and graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto focused on health care research and management. Please welcome Dr. Batting to our team at Carefiniti Medical Clinic. At a young age, Dr. Caitlin Batting was entranced by natural medicine after seeing a Naturopath changed her life. She grew up in Calgary, and received her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary. After working in marketing for a couple years, another decline in her health sparked her to follow her true passion. She obtained a Holistic Nutrition diploma from the Canadian School of Natural Nutriti...on, and went on to attend the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in Vancouver. Dr. Batting believes everyone deserves to feel beautiful inside and out. She has a focus in stress & anxiety, fatigue, burnout and hormonal imbalances. She also loves working to optimize digestion, skin health and promote graceful aging.
