This year hasn't been easy for charities who rely on support to be able to provide many of their essential services to people who need it the most in our community. As a not-for-profit, we've had to pivot to adapt our fundraising in a COVID-19 world, but thanks to our donors and supporters who were willing to make the transition with us, we were able to continue to bring in essential funds to support our programs and services. With numbers of COVID-19 cases rising, isolated seniors in our community are needing our support now more than ever. On #WorldMentalHealthDay, we are highlighting Carefor’s Let’s Get Together (LGT) Club, which is a unique local mental health support group for older adults living with or at risk of mental illness.
