We are still here! We have shifted our programming to be available over the phone or online. Now is a time to remember our caregivers and support them as much as we can!
We are starting a private Facebook group for caregivers of older adults in Winnipeg to connect with each other. It will be periodically monitored by Caregiving With Confidence staff, but it will be a safe, open space for caregivers to connect with each other. TODAY at 12:00pm Palliative Manitoba is hosting a Zoom event to discuss palliative care and the impact of social distancing on grief and loss.
Caregiver Recognition Day is next Tuesday, April 7th at 10:00am. It's important now more than ever that we recognize the family caregivers in our lives, and appreciate all that they do for our communities.
