They were set long before we had any idea how long emergency measures would last! Safety Protocols to Keep in Mind We're taking additional steps to keep our spaces safe for you and our staff members. We ask that all visitors to the building wash their hands with soap and water before entering the clinic. If you have any cold or flu symptoms please cancel your appointment and there will be no charge. Our staff is taking extra care to keep patients safe and healthy by washing hands often, disinfecting surfaces including the exam tables, pay machines, and surfaces. Please report to our staff if you are experiencing a fever or if you have returned from a trip outside of Canada, and we can reschedule your appointment to a later date. The CareWell team recently visited the Junior Griffin Girls U-12 soccer team at the field house to instruct on a proper warm up. Human Physiology Class Part 3, in the Carewell Studio this morning, taught by Roberto Mirotta, to grade 7 and 8 students. Using movement to demonstrate human kinetics and anatomy, Robert is a Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist, who is also studying to be an Osteopathic Practitioner. Movement is a wonderful tool which can be used to feel energized, relieve stress, and maintain the health of our bodies. Movement class is an active workshop where parti...cipants will practice movement awareness through the exploration of active range of motion. We start the class with a full body check in to warm up and to see how we are feeling that day and where we may need the most attention. Then we will explore each area of the body and discuss the normal motions of each body part while reviewing the basic anatomy of joints and muscles. We will then put the motions together to make more complex movements which challenge mobility, balance, and coordination. This workshop is a fun practice of self discovery which teaches concepts that can be used in any stage of life. Movement Therapy classes at CareWell are led by Robert Mirotta who is a Registered Massage Therapist and Kinesiologist. Robert encourages patients to use a whole body movement practice as part of their regular self care and maintenance of their physical health. @ Chancellors Way Medical Arts Centre
