How have artists historically navigated these power structures? How has the current moment of crisis exacerbated these barriers? What opportunities does the moment offer for meaningful & sustainable long-term transformation? The talk & meeting will be held online, via Zoom, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. With the 2020-2021 cultural season upon us, the COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an outsized effect on the arts and culture sector in Canada. To make sure your voice is heard, CARFAC Ontario has joined forces with 30 national and provincial arts service organizations representing a range of artistic disciplines across the country to develop the National Arts and Culture Impact Survey (NACIS). All arts organizations, artists, and arts workers across Canada are encouraged to participate in the survey by Monday, November 23, 2020.
