The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex is excited to release the January - June 2021 Pool Schedule. Please note there have been some changes developed since the original version was posted in the 2020/2021 Fall & Winter Active Living Guide. Here are some items of note:... 1) On Saturdays & Sundays, the Aquatics Centre is now open at 8:00am and closed at 6:00pm 2) Mon - Fri, 9:00am - 11:00am the Lap Pool will be closed to the public to accommodate our School Swim Program as we welcome students from School District No. 27. The Hot Spots and Leisure Pool will be open to the public as long as space is available. 3) Tue & Thu, 3:30pm - 6:00pm both the Lap Pool and Leisure Pool will be closed to the public as we accommodate our Swimming Lesson programs and the WL Blue Fins practice. Public access to the Hot Spots will be granted as long as space is available. 4) Sat & Sun, 10:00am - 12:30pm both the Lap and Leisure Pool will be closed to the public as we accommodate our Swimming Lesson programs. Although these events have occurred in the past, due to COVID-19 regulations we have to maintain user limits, and therefore public access closures are required. Don't miss out on our Canadian Tire Everyone Welcome Free Public Skate this weekend! 1:45pm - 3:15pm Please note that there is a maximum of 50 skaters allowed. We also require that an adult escorts all children to the ice rink to ensure there is available space for them to skate before leaving and to not drop them off at the facility without checking.... You could walk away with a great prize!

The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex would like to inform all our patrons that starting January 3rd, 2021 - the Facility hours of operation for Saturday and Sunday will be changing to 8:00am - 6:00pm.

What better way to start off the New Year than with a Free skate? Thanks to your local Canadian Tire's generous support, we are proud to present the "Canadian Tire Everyone Welcome Skate!" Every Saturday and Sunday from January to the end of March come on down to the Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex between 1:45pm - 3:15pm to enjoy this fantastic free public skate! Who knows, you might even leave with a great prize courtesy of Canadian Tire!

Following the recent extension of the Public Health Order to February 5th, 2021. The Cariboo Memorial Recreation Complex has had to cancel several scheduled programs that were to start as early as January 11th. If you were registered in any of the affected programs, please note that you will be contacted directly by our staff members. However, following the Public Health Order guidelines and the December 14th, 2020 BCCDC Guidelines for Group Low-Intensity programs, the Caribo...o Memorial Recreation Complex will still offer several registered programs for Children and Adults. These programs will be found here and will continuously be updated: https://www.facebook.com/media/set If you are interested in attending any of these programs, we highly encourage you to register early to ensure your ability to join the program as spots have been limited. We will continue to offer recreational offerings to the community wherever possible while ensuring we follow the guidelines of the Provincial Health Officer, BC Public Health and our partner organizations such as the BCRPA. For the duration of the School Semester, the Lap Pool will be closed Monday to Friday from 9:00am - 11:00am to accommodate School Program Swims. This area has to be closed to the public as we accommodate the numerous students to comply with our COVID-19 operational guidelines. The Leisure Pool will remain open during this time, and anyone looking to swim laps will be accommodated in our shorter lane area of the Leisure Pool, while space is available.
