What a beautiful fall! Since it has been as wet as I've ever seen it here in Horsefly I am sure we've earned it. I for one sure enjoy those beautiful sunny days. Days that start with heavy fog over the lake and suddenly, there it is. The sun. So we took the opportunity and did one of my favorite sideXside trip. Up and over Horsefly Mountain. So peaceful, so beautiful, so satisfying.

Good morning. Finally a somewhat sunny day. We've had more or less rain everyday since the spring. Lot's of roads have been washed away, some are repaired again and some are still waiting for water to recede. The lake is as high as I've ever seen it and the ground is totally soaked. Quite a change from 2017 and 2018 when we had all the wildfires. (still prefer the clean, freshly washed air to the smoke filled air). Our hook-up sites are not accessible due to the road being s...o soft and "mushy" and the campsite, well let's say it is a good thing we are only taking regular customers at the moment. Too much traffic would simply destroy the grounds. But other than that life is good. Stephan's health is somewhat stable at the moment and he was able to get his cataract surgeries. So the man can see again. YEAH! We are open but ONLY FOR REGULAR customers. Fingers crossed things improve and we can change that next year. We hope everybody is staying away from the nasty virus. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Phones back up and working! YEAH. Not thanks to Telus (the ones who should do the work) but thanks to a friend who used to be a Telus "guy". It's good to know people with skills.
