Thank you everyone for a really fun, albeit short, kickstart to the new Surly Bird Saloon out here in Carcross. We will now be shut down for the season, with the possibility of a private event here or there, just for fun! Again, we are so grateful for the love and support you all gave us by coming out, spreading the word, and just genuinely being your wonderful amazing selves. ... We will see you all again in Spring 2020!!

Today is the big day! We are welcoming local author and friend, John Firth, into The Surly Bird Saloon at the Caribou Hotel to deliver readings from his newest book, "The Caribou Hotel: Hauntings, hospitality, a hunter, and the parrot". We have the book available for purchase, and John will taking some questions, as well as signing copies.... There will be two readings today, 4pm - 6pm, and then from 8pm - 10pm. Make sure to get here in a timely fashion, as seating is limited.
