Sunday, January 17,2021... Extra Pics of the Day! What an Incredible Day!!! The Ladies prepped all week.... Bagged lunches included:..(108) Hot Dog, mac salad, brown beans, n mixed veggies. Homemade cookies, rice puddin, n candy bags, wet nappy and a Card of Hope! 5 vehicles convoy the inner city looking for those most in need! I can honestly say in all the years I've personally done this... It was like a Ghost Town in the inner-city!! I'm going to take this as good news, Praying our friends are housed! Today's run was incredibly emotional for everyone! I Will share some of these stories, heard and told by Our Friends living in some of the most desperate times!! 1 young fella, face first in the wall, tweeking, barely able to hold himself up. as most lined up for a lunch bag. (in an alley way). So many THANK YOUS.. NEXT STOP.. the team help fix up a 3 woman camp. Staples tarp down, secured a few things, extra blankets n some warm clothes to get them through another night! Had extra tarps n rope to help a few more along Our way! 1 MAN fell to his knees after reading the Card of Hope! He said.. This is something My Mom would say to Me!! Pulling the Hot Dog from the bag, and Smiling from ear to Ear!! This Man has has the worst frost biting hands I've seen on the Streets, it was healing, So we were able to get a clean cloth on it and sock for protection, Please pray for Our Friends!! Next and Last stop of the Day.. BOYLE.. the coop!! Very quiet there, a few tents set up so we checked on each one! This was the hardest stop!!! Lady #1.. You are a Warrior!! Hugs, Tears n Stories were exchanged.. Prayers! Lady #2.. Warrior!! We share the same experiences, My Prayers are with you in theses next steps to heal!! So with all that in Our Day.. Today we are building First aid kits for each vehicle in our convoy as Well as.. Wait for it... 15 narcan kits.. Are on order!! 5 for each vehicle!! We run on Donations, Form Amazing Caring People like You, Any little thing will help Us continue what We Do.. So Please if you able to donate, 1 hat, 1 sock 1 mitt, 1 blanket, 1 can of beans , 1.. Of any thing.. It will be used to Help Our Friends in disparate times! Coats, boots, tarps, anything survival.. We will take!! Snacks, baking, juice boxes, anything to fill a bagged lunch.. We will take!! We Run Sundays.. Contact page if a pick up is needed!! Also a huge shout out to.. @Bens Meat and Deli on Stony Plain Road for the Discount, n Donation of Dogs!! They Dam Good Dogs!!
