I never would have thought, that spending money I didn’t have, on a workout program I knew nothing about, through a stranger I met on FB... would lead me here My kiddos couldn’t wait to hear mom’s name on the National Wake Up call this morning , even Brad was pumped- all of us celebrating, because they have each seen the work it’s taken to get here - I feel so loved! So many people say they took a chance on this type of job and it didn’t work. I would say to them, it works i...f you work. If you make it about others not you, if you give more than you take, if you pour into the lives of others with your heart leading the way It works It’s not even actually complicated- I work out. I build up my mind daily with books & podcasts that help me become a better person. I live my truth, I own who I am But all of that would have sounded terrifying to 7 years ago me. I wasn’t confident, I wasn’t bold, I wasn’t who I am today But I wouldn’t be who you see me as today, if I hadn’t said yes to coaching The possibilities for you are endless dear friend, if you just take that first step of borrowing my belief and saying YES I will mentor 5 women this month. Did you know when I started this I didn’t even know what Beachbody was? I had a burned DVD copy of P90X and that was about it .. I've been a "fitness influencer" for 7 years now- way before it was a thing. Friend, I never graduated highschool and have failed at more things than I care to count. I remember hating Monday, every single week. I remember sitting in the parking lot facing the dental office I worked at and crying in my car, dreading going in. Because inside were my co-workers. These women in their late 40’s were the highschool equivalent of mean girls. They had made up their mind about me, they decided I didn’t belong there, and they were right, I wasn’t qualified , but I was teach able, but they didn’t care. They made up their own story about 24 year ol...d me, that I had everything, was a party girl, living and being loved because I was tall and blonde .. They didn’t know that I could barely pay my mortgage. They didn’t know that because I was going through a divorce I could barely afford to eat. That each night I went home to a half empty house, and a nearly empty fridge, I had cut the cable and didn’t turn on the heat because I couldn’t afford the bills. I was sad, broken, alone. I spent my nights walking with my dogs for hours trying to get my head in the right space to be able to face another day of the same shit show that I had allowed my life to become. I continued to face the days, and a few years later everything looked different, I didn’t have to pretend to smile, it was real. I didn’t have to dread Mondays. I didn’t have to wait for pay day to figure out if I was going to eat, or keep the heat on. I choose who I work with now. Mean girls need not apply. If you’re fun, sarcastic, driven and resilient - and ready to love your Mondays- I have the position for you- and the timing has NEVER been more in your favour ( more on that tomorrow!)
