This is a open post for Mr Kenny and Dr Hinshaw Today this chair sits empty This chair may not mean anything to some , but to me this is such a big part of my life ... Today this chair sits empty , while big box stores are still open and hundreds line up to shop ....this chair sits empty Today this chair sits empty, no stories from kids of what they desire from Santa , no clients excited for Christmas parties, no excitement of children going to visit grandparents How can a big box stores being open be more important than small businesses, but still today this chair sits empty Today as I drove by Macdonald's, I counted 15 cars in the drive through. How can fast food become more important than a small business? I woke up yesterday, day 4 my last day of work before I was forced to shut down for 4 weeks ..... I thought of how many will be alone at this time of year . Mr Kenny your first words after being elected were " Alberta is open for business ", but today this chair sits empty. Last night I'm sure many of us small buisness owners had tears in our eyes as we shut the lights out locked the doors ( exhausted because basically our government said , we don't care , but I'll give you these next 4 days to make as much money as you can. Then hopefully you'll shut up and ask for no help .But please order anything you need on line.) And still today this chair sits empty As a small buisness owner I have complied with all regulations, only taken clients by appointment only. But still today this chair sits empty So we wait and hope we can all make it through this, we wait for web sites with a hope there may be a way our government can help us through this. And while we wait this chair sits empty I will be back I tell myself, I will get through this, the sun will shine tomorrow and better days are ahead I'm sure. But still today this chair sits empty Small businesses are the back bone of this province too Mr Kenny , we need you to stand up and fight for us !!!!
