We run a very busy farm animal sanctuary calledHappy Tails Farm Sanctuary. Although it is a registered charity, our entire family is heavily involved. On top of having several different types of rescued animals we also have children. We open up our barn doors as well to our community to help educate people on the incredible lives of the animals who live here. We also work very hard to teach our children to respect all animals, regardless of species.... Every morning Jessica gets fresh greens and love. And then we go outside and give all the bunnies their salad as well. Instead of keeping Mary away from the animals, instead we teach her how to live alongside them. We teach her how to respect them and to understand they each have individual needs and preferences. Mary is a very lucky girl as she will be brought up surrounded by animals that are treated with kindness and compassion. I think this will go far for both the animals and little Mary.
