Hi everyone, wish you had a great holiday! Unfortunetly, we were unable to book the gym this term(winter term) because the there are no consistant space for us to play badminton. We apologize for the late reply, because we didn't get enough information from the rental office. We will start making reservation for the Fall term(September 2017).
Hi everyone, the next 2 meeting(Nov.6th, Nov.13th) we have for badminton will be on sunday INSTEAD of saturday, same time 2:30PM to 5PM; because the gym is not available for us on saturday for these 2 meeting. Have a good day!
There will be no badminton this saturday Oct.8th and next saturday Oct.15th, due to thanksgiving and midterm, we are starting again on the Oct.22th 2:30PM to 5PM at Norm Fenn Gym
We noticed that the Gym location was somehow missing, even we did include it. The location will be Norm Fenn Gym(same building as Ice House) at 2.30-5Pm for the first meeting. Sorry for the mistake we have made.
Hi everyone. Wish you had a great summer. Carleton badminton club(CUBC) is back again for the Fall term. We will be starting September 24th(Saturday) from 2.30 PM to 5PM(and same schedule for every meeting, 2.30-5PM) . We have badminton every week(except mid-term period, about 2 weeks;but we will have a total number of booking around 8-9) The member fee is $30 for the entire term,$5 for drop in(shuttlecocks and other materials will be provided, but we only have 4-5 rackets in... stock, so try to bring your own racket) **This year we decided to have some club activities, which we didn't have before. If we do have enough players and budget, we will try to arrange a mini-tournament among our club for FREE, if you win the matches we will have some prize for you(we haven't decide what prize will it be)****(Players will only compete within the same skill level) HOW IT WORKS: Every player will get a name tag, you will put your name and skill level(1-5 ,1 for lowest, 5 for highest) We will arrange games based on your skill level. You are always playing with people that have similar skill level as you. So don't worry if you just started, there are a lot of people same as you : ) ******(ONLY for Carleton Student) If you do have CUSA HUB registered, please search for our group "Carleton badminton club",under the Group section at the HOME page; and click the top right side buttonJoin group So that the school can support us better, if we do have enough amount of people we can ask the school to give us some funding.
