Busy weekend for Chilliwack Search and Rescue. Several calls for services in Chilliwack and surrounding area. The post we made at the beginning of the weekend c...autioning on the fast rising water and high flow advisory the Province issued fell a little short with some. Flood waters trapped recreational users on the river banks, cars swept away, roads washed out and falling trees provided much headache. We needed to call in our partners at the 442 Squadron for an emergency evacuation at Jones Lake (Wahleach Lake). Appreciate the assist and so did the patient! Stay safe out there. Water is one powerful force!!!!!

Amazing execution by the Ottawa FD bringing down a crane operator who has suffered a medical emergency.. Global News.ca reports the operation took one hour and 20 minutes to complete. It took a lot of prior training for this kind of execution. Hats off. #skateblock #rescue
