This year the holidays will look a little different. The Ministry of Health has asked that everyone have COVID safe holiday celebrations. If you are having a gathering with people you do not live with: Ask you guests not to come if they have any symptoms, even if they are mild; Determine how many people can physically distance in the space you have without exceeding the gathering limits. Keep your gatherings small and use outdoor space whenever possible; Wear a mask ...when physical distancing cannot be maintained; Provide your guests with hand sanitizer, soap and water. Make sure to clean and disinfect high touch surfaces; Make a list of guests in case public health needs it for contact tracing; Avoid potluck and buffet style food service. Have food on individual plates; For a full list of recommendations visit the link to our website or contact your local Health Unit. Please note that these guidelines could change at any point. Please keep an eye on your Health Unit’s website for updated information and recommendations. https://carling.ca//AdviceforEventsGatherings-PHUs-COVID-1 See more

The graphic may be old but the message is still your same. Make sure you are having your chimneys cleaned and inspected at least once a year or it could lead to a fire.
