The Alexander Park Clean Up went great but we still need some volunteers for the Merivale Road and Raven Park Clean ups. Date is Oct 10 - Merivale Road is from 10 to 12 - Meeting point is at Shillington and Merivale and Raven Park is from 1 to 3. Fisher Avenue - Service Transfers Hydro Project 9202014630 Hydro Ottawa is returning to Fisher Ave to complete the Service Transfer Project Oct 8, 2020 which will result in a significant power interruptions on Fisher (Between Crerar and Carling Ave) Carling Avenue (Between Anna and Island Park)... Crerar Avenue (between Fisher Avenue to Anne Avenue) Anne Avenue (North of Crerar) Stevenson Avenue There will be increased excavation activities and construction vehicles and traffic control is being implemented. It is time to Clean Up Carlington! The CCA has registered in 3 areas of Carlington as part of Glad's Clean the Capital campaign. By pre-registering as volunteer to pick up and dispose of litter you will be entered into a draw for a $10 gift certificate to our lovely local Carlington Coffee House. There are 3 locations and 2 dates. Alexander Park, Sat Oct 3, 10 to noon (rain date Oct 4)... Carlington Community Association Annual General Meeting. Given the on-going global pandemic and the restrictions placed on in person meetings, the Carlington Community Association has worked on holding a Hybrid Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.... This means Carlington residents can choose whether to attend in person or virtually by Zoom. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED for either method of attending the AGM. To register for either the IN-PERSON or ZOOM AGM, please send an email TO: [email protected] with EITHER in-person or Zoom in the subject header.
