#bittersweet Afternoon Oh well, I so not want to be so dramatic but I was so happy this afternoon as at 1pm the second twin was discharged from the hospital after a 5 days stay and being even intubated for 2 days. So, I was so happy and the weather was so nice that I went for a run before a meeting I had planned late afternoon. At the end of the workout I was cooling down about 5 blocks from my house when a dog jumped on me, fortunately it did not bite me but the claws mad...e their way to my shirt and skin... i am now back to the hospital were I guess I will take a Tetanus shot and some antibiotics... oh well at least the silver lining is that it was not bad, and definitely could have been worse. #RunningSelfie Yesterday I completed my longrun for the week, I gave an extra push as was so motivated for seeing so many PRs from my @myolympiccoach teammates (@lucholj @runningwithlucho @wendycatherine26.2 @tanfigs @reinaldoaraujo9595 @gabrielalfonzo @elvirairady @armandogtzb @lecsrun @moises_sterental and happy for @alan1890 @richardcooperb @marly_reinoso as they we also able to race again) I was so happy and also jealous of them, but I know my time to compete will com...e soon. In Canada there are no programmed races for the spring, who knows maybe something for the summer, and it is difficult to cross the border as when coming back I would have to isolate in a hotel room and undergo a couple of COVID tests at my own expenses. For now I am still putting on the work (as usual) as If I was training for a race in the near future. Still have the plan to participate in Berlin and NYC if possible, Have a great beginning of the week everybody!!!
