This seems fair on the surface but it would leave spouse B with little money left over for personal spending or retirement savings. (Househould A) Therefore, a more agreeable amount of personal spending/savings of spouse B be could be budgeted to lessen the impact of inequity (Household B). Here's a bad example of #Personal #Finance content. The "Sex and the City" remark was cringy. Women don't need an irrelevant pop-culture reference to understand the importance budgeting. So, too, was the talk about a "side hustle." How can that be sustainable when you (both men and women) have a family to care for? So much PF content is just telling readers to just deal with structural inequalities rather than directly address the problems.... I don't blame the writer, instead I blame the publishing industry that continues to push for content that infanitilizes women investors and promotes #HustlePorn.
