News from Carl's Wood Works Swallow houses are still working, but this year there were some surprises. Swallows were late this year and we saw sparrows and swallows fight for the houses we have up. We now have 2 swallow houses with swallows in them; one with sparrows and the 4th swallow house with chickadees. So you may want to question me next time you ask me if the swallow houses work. And they do. Apparently with swallows, sparrows and chickadees. The cooler weather cause delays in birds returning to our area.

Special Project: I had a request to create a portable "Lecturn" for a church. I made this one out of oak. It can be angled to 4 settings. Carl's Wood Works
