Good morning everyone, The Outreach Committee plans to have a drive through food drop off in our parking lot in April. It will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 1 -3 pm. Please note the time. Non-perishable food items will be donated to the Chilliwack Food Bank and the Chilliwack Community Cupboard. The following food items are needed: canned salmon, tuna, canned meat, tinned lunches, baby food, Kraft dinner, breakfast cereal, canned fruit and vegetables,... juice, peanut butter, and chunky soup. All non-perishable food donations are appreciated. Please see attached poster. Traffic is to move one direction only, please follow the enter and exit arrows in the parking lot. People dropping off food will please remain in their vehicles, NO VISITING ALLOWED. Outreach committee members will pick up donations from your vehicle. Please wear a mask. Some pictures of our church on a pleasant warm day on November 21, 2020 as we move towards Advent and the Christmas season. it felt like spring but the fallen leaves and snow capped Mt. Cheam and Lady Peak that look down on Carman United Church tell us winter is on the way as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Of course it will a bit different type of Christmas this year because of COVID 19. I know we long to be able to worship at our chur...ch and see all our church friends that we miss each Sunday except when we see them on Zoom Sunday morning at 10:30 when we worship in the near normal type of life. Hi Daisy-Ann, I'm sorry this message took so long to do but its been a few days of setting up and moving and the like in order to get the organ situated. It's just waiting on a final go-over with our sound technician but it's set up in its new location enough that I can send those pictures you asked for. Antipasto/Pudding Pick-up and Cyrus Centre Gift Drop-off Dear Carman friends, Although our parking lot drop-in continues to be on pause, we will provide an opportunity for folk to pick up their antipasto & pudding orders or drop off gifts for the Cyrus Centre Christmas Outreach project. There will also be fabric face masks and limited quantities of jams, jellies & relish available to purchase. Pick-up and drop-off will take place in the parking lot on Nov. 25 and Nov. 27 ...between 10:00 & noon both days. (See attached flyers.) We ask that you please wear a mask and maintain appropriate physical distance at all times. Should the weather be inclement, we will set up in the covered area at the entrance to the church.
