C Armr Ponies

We had some action on our sleigh ride today! Watch out Bugs Bunny my German Shepherd thinks he's a hunting dog!

Happy New Years Everyone! This year was a change of pace as all of our horse shows and trail rides were cancelled due to covid. However, we did make it to the Saskatchewan Equine Expo in February where we had a lot of fun in the breed demo promoting the Welsh Pony with Master and the Newfoundland Pony with Gewels. The rest of the year was spent training ponies and making memories on family rides together. Ava and Annika started to train Slippers to ride, I started driving... Comet double and Ava worked up to being able to ride Scandal independently by the fall. The girls really developed their horsemanship skills as Annika started loping bareback on Gewels and Ava learnt to get on Master bareback. We were also very excited to have sold Ala to a 7 yr old boy in Alberta who is doing a fantastic job training her to ride. We look forward to seeing what 2021 has in store for C Armr Ponies! #drop_your_favorite_cart_hitch_horse_challenge This was a special pony to us as he was a foal out of Voodoo (our original Welsh mare) and Master (our first Welsh stallion). He had a lot of spunk and was not a Childs pony but he sure loved to show off in harness and was so fun to drive! Mr. Yankee Doo in his debut driving class at the Manitoba Welsh Pony & Cob Show.
