Due to the extreme cold weather this week, we did not receive our Monday van run delivery. Delivery is scheduled for next Monday as normal.

Regional KidsFirst will be offering a free online parenting class during the months of February and March. This free class will be held online weekly from 1PM - 3PM for 6 weeks. (Feb 2 - Mar 9) Spaces are limited to 8 families. Nobody's Perfect is a program for parents of children from birth to age 5. It does not teach one "right" way to parent, but helps parents recognize their strengths and find positive ways to raise healthy, happy children. There are no perfect parents, perfect children or perfect people. We can only do our best, and we all need help once in a while.

Today was our Craft To Go for Craft Corner. We handed out 42 bags. The craft was clothespin snowmen. Check out the instructions on YouTube - go to the Southeast Regional Library channel.

Yesterday was Craft Corner - children grabbed a bag to take home to make this cute little penguin.

Congratulations to 2 young ladies who participated in our Christmas colouring contest. Very nice job. We will be having another colouring contest in January.

Craft Corner is tomorrow (Thursday) after school. The librarian will be outside the front library door with bags containing a craft for children ages 5-12. A special thanks to Community Initiatives Fund for a grant that enables us to provide this for the children.

On Tuesday, January 19th, the Carnduff Public Library will be closed from 5-6pm due to a Zoom staff meeting.

Just a reminder that our basket raffles will be running until December 16th. Tickets are 5 / $2.00 or 15 / $5.00. Tickets can be purchased at the library desk.

We are taking appointments for December 7 - 17 so please call early and book yourself for some relaxation.
