And that’s a wrap on our 2020 season! From the bottom of our hearts, thank you SO much for continuing to support our local vendors year after year. To say this season has been challenging would be an understatement but seeing the outpouring of support from our community every Saturday has meant the world to our organizers and family of Carp Market vendors. We are so thankful we get to connect local producers to such an incredible community. We can’t wait to see you all back at the market again next spring but until then we’d like to wish you all a wonderful holiday season. See you in spring 2021!

This Thanksgiving we’re extra thankful for all the loyal customers who continue to support our group of local producers year in and year out. To say this year, our 30th season, has been challenging would be an understatement but we are so very grateful and thankful to be able to open our market to such a caring and supportive community. Our market is a part of a wonderful community. This week our community mourns the loss of one of its beloved members, Golf Cart Dave Creighton. Many of you may have seen Dave around the fairgrounds on his golf cart, or watering the flowers along Carp Road. Almost every Saturday he would stop by the market for a chat with our vendors and market staff. This past Saturday, like so many other Saturdays, he popped by the Christmas Market. Chatting with our market manager, Ennio, Dave told him about his birthday parade the day before, jokingly saying that he’d never talk to any of those people again, which certainly gave us a good laugh. It’s hard to believe we won’t be seeing him this Saturday. Tonight the village and community of Carp remembers a valued and cherished member and neighbour. We’ll miss you Dave!
