Happy 2021!!! I hope everyone had a safe and fun NYE! We had a Zoom hangout with our friends, and drank champagne after Sloaney went to bed. This past year has been incredibly tough on everyone - but as a small business the losses were overwhelming to say the least. Today I set my intentions and my wishes for a brighter, healthier and happier year ahead for everyone as a collective. I guess if we can weather this storm then we can do anything. One thing that 2020 brought me was more lovely families to photograph (like this amazing family in the slides!) - I absolutely love it. Being primarily a wedding photographer, it leaves me with not a lot of extra time to take on more work. But I’m so glad I was able to document so many incredible moments for all my family clients this year. In 2021 I will be going back to taking a limited number of family sessions and in-home newborn sessions. Today was supposed to be S&T’s wedding. Here are some random pointers about me : 1 I was born in England and moved to Canada when I was 2 (with my parents of course )... 2 over the past year (with a blip during quarantine) I’ve grown to love exercise and making it part of my weekly routine. 3 Before I was a professional photographer I was a graphic designer! Guys...is it officially fall yet?? The little red apples started to pop on my in laws property (where I do a lot of my shoots) and it’s always an indicator of the summer turning into fall. Even though this year has been totally weird for everyone, maybe we can take some solace in the fact that change is happening, nothing stays the same forever and we can all manifest the better we need for our futures. As the seasons change our lives change - and our circumstances change. I’m going to embrace this upcoming season in my life, and I hope you will join me as well
