Due to the Thanksgiving holiday Monday, the Diamond Comics shipment will not be arriving until tomorrow at the earliest. Subscriptions will not be filled until later in the day. However, DC Comics have arrived and will be available at store opening on Wednesday. As always, thank you for continuing to support Carry-On and we will see you soon!

Brad Ashton-Haiste Nov 29th, 1955 - Aug 30th, 2020 Worlds Away (London, Ontario) proprietor Brad Ashton-Haiste passed away yesterday. Although I hadn't seen Brad in a while, I have fond memories of working alongside him at Now And Then Books in Kitchener in the early 1990s. Brad headed to London to peddle his genre memorabilia around the same time I headed to London to pursue a graphic design career. I would stop in regularly to see Brad at the Gibraltar Flea Market & then at... his storefront at Worlds Away to discuss the latest episodes of the X-Files, the merits of The Evil Dead, and assorted bands/musicians we shared interests in. Brad had a deep love for everything Star Trek. He enjoyed Numerous CCG's, especially Magic The Gathering. He loved music (PJ Harvey and the Screaming Trees come to mind). And he had a razor-sharp sardonic wit. Our deepest condolences go out to Brad's wife, Ellen. "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory." Leonard Nimoy

Hello everyone! The rest of our shipment is arriving today! As a result, Carry-On will be closing at 4:00 pm today to give us time to process the shipment and get it ready for you. The rest of our shipment is M.I.A. Canpar’s system is experiencing delays in processing customer shipments due to technical issues. Ah yes, COVID...fun times!... In light of receiving both last weeks and this weeks shipments of DC Comics, Carry-On will be open tomorrow (Friday) between 11-5.

Once again, the DC Comics distributor, UCS, has let us down this week. Last weeks shipment and this weeks shipment have been combined and from our understanding, are on route to Carry-On. We apologize for the inconvenience but it is beyond our control. We will be sure to provide an update once the DC shipment arrives. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

DC Comics have arrived and are available for pickup today from 5pm to 6pm and tomorrow between 12-5. Thank you to everyone who have patiently waited for this shipment and we apologize for the inconvenience!

Effective Monday July 13th, a mask or covering will be required when visiting our store other than children under the age of 5 and those who are unable to wear a face covering as a result of a medical condition or a disability. Some disabilities are invisible so the by-law asks businesses and residents to be respectful and kind to one another. The by-law does not require people to provide proof to support an exemption. We appreciate everyone’s understanding as the number one priority is the well-being of all. Thank you for your patience. Please no negative comments.

Starting this week, DC Comics is now being shipped to Carry-On through a new distributor, UCS Comic Distributors. As this is the first week, there has been a delay of this shipment for DC Comics ONLY. We are hopeful that they will be available by Thursday July 9th.
