While we know that not every family is in the position to leave their credits with us, sign up not knowing when the term will begin, or sign up at all during the pandemic, we thank EVERYONE for the continued support of our local small businesses. Kudos to all teachers today transitioning again or stepping up their online presence for their class over the next couple of weeks. Kudos to all the parents once again assisting their children with online school. Hugs to the kids missing their friends and teachers. Stay safe....we’ll all be together again soon.

We are sad to announce, but feel it’s the absolute best decision for Cartwheels and our members, that we hold off on opening Term 3, registration. It was scheduled to begin tomorrow for our current members and Friday for changes and new members. Due to capacity limits we have been dealt this week, we have decided we will wait until we determine we will be allowed to run the (already greatly reduced) schedule that we created for this season. It’s a tough decision to wrap our ...heads around on the business side, but after many discussions feel it’s the smart, necessary course of action for Cartwheels. Stronger on the other side of this is our goal. We will continue to keep you updated on registration as soon as it’s smart and safe to do so. Thank you for your understanding and patience. All the changes/updates have been made to meet the new restriction & we’ve sent SOOOOO many emails this afternoon our brains are fried. Final all-member email (for today) sent as well. Friends fans? Cartwheels is determined to PIVOT and adapt as needed for you, our valued members & supporters. Kids need physical activity. Kids are resilient. Kids will continue to be safe at Cartwheels, as we take each protocol and obstacle to the extreme. We got this! Below are the upcoming term dates for 2021. Please note that these dates are subject to change as needed, and we’ve left wiggle room through the season to make the changes to address what happens with the... school year, government recommendations, and what we determine is the best path for Cartwheels. We are going to continue with Term 3 and 4, as six week terms with a two week pause in between. We have scheduled Term 5, as a eight week term which is closer to our normal pre-COVID term length .staying positive and looking forward to a healthy world (fingers crossed). Term 3: Monday January 4-Sunday February 14 Term 4: Sunday February 28-Sunday March 11 (proposed dates, subject to change) Term 5: Monday April 26-Monday June 21 (proposed dates, subject to change, 8 week term. Pricing to be updated to reflect a longer term) Current Term 2: registration to confirm your same day/time as you are currently registered in for Term 3, only by email starting November 24, at 12:01am until November 26, at 7:00pm. Starting November 24, you may send an email to confirm you are choosing to stay in your child’s current time slot. No new registration forms will be required and your spot can be confirmed by sending payment by etransfer or by providing credit card info. Open registration for new members or those wishing to change day/time for Term 3, starts on Friday November 27, by email only starting at 12:01am. Term 1 and 2, members of the current season will not need new paperwork. IMPORTANT: parents, please refrain from removing your mask to drink beverages. We kindly ask that you don’t bring coffee/tea etc into our viewing area at this time. Playtime and Family Bookings: will not be offered until Halton is placed in the PREVENT/green stage. NOTE: Cartwheels will be closed Monday December 21-Sunday January 3, for the Christmas break. These dates may change if the HDSB edits the dates of the Winter break. THANK YOU!!! Thank you to each one of our members that has messaged, stopped us in public, emailed the gym or chatted at the gym this past few days. Your support keeps us going. We’ve sent out an email to our current membership again today, sharing with you that because of the proactive preparations and strict protocols we already have in place, Halton moving to control/red does not change anything for Cartwheels. We are all doing our part to keep our gym safe and may p...roceed with our Term 2. Wonderful news! Thanks again for providing us with a touch of normalcy during this weird time. It does my girls a world of good to participate in gymnastics, and we know you take such care to ensure our safety. Drive safe traveling to the gym this morning everyone. Our lobby is not Winter ready (boot & scraper mats) as we reduced our service to monthly to save money, but we’ll be contacting the company tomorrow morning to update our next delivery.

So that was a bit of a surprise today for anyone watching the Premier’s daily press conference as Halton Hills continues to have low numbers. Unfortunately our Region of Halton as a whole will be moved to a new category. Cartwheels continues to tackle each obstacle. We will continue to offer your children a safe, clean facility, a sense of normalcy and fun. Thank you everyone for your support #wegotthis

This! This is our world. Our dream. Thinking of all our coaching friends and club owners facing forced closure once again. Crossing everything we possibly can, hoping we’re not next. Our club is following the rules and taking each protocol above & beyond. Majority of clubs are doing the same. Team Cartwheels is exhausted but we will continue to do so until we kick this virus outta here. ... Stay strong. We are all in this together. We have chosen to keep the (already limited in size) cohorts we’ve established the first two weeks identical, as well as continue our reputation of a safe facility and program for our members.
