COVID-19 Update January 8, 2021 Seven cases of COVID-19 were reported by the CISSS de la Gaspésie on Friday, but one of these cases dates back to December 31,2020.... Five are in the MRC Rocher-Percé and one in the MRC Côte-de-Gaspé. The case from December 31st is recorded in the MRC Avignon. 84 cases remain active in the region, including 50 in the MRC Rocher-Percé alone and 16 in the community of Listuguj, according to the most recent report from the Mi'kmaq Nation. An additional person had to be admitted to the hospital, bringing the number of patients currently receiving hospital care to seven. 633 doses of the vaccine have been administered in recent days for a total of 1658 so far.
