This spring and summer will be fun to get the garden going. As we pause all around the world we are preparing for a major comeback, people are going to be hurting on this side of the pond and across the globe. We think of our Italian friends and family, we see our family and friends here and we all share a commitment to getting back to helping support both local communities!

We can’t go to Italy and work on the gardens at Papooch Properties but we sure can work on our garden here in Canada!

It’s gonna be a cheesy Easter around these parts...

We wake up to hear the news. 10,000 and even after a 3 week lockdown the numbers are still rising. Our hearts break and we have you on our minds and in our hearts as you continue to struggle with this virus. We got good news here, the B.C health officials say the numbers look promising and that we just may have flattened the curve. Keep doing the right thing and we will get through this.

We hear the news reports, we know how tough the North has been hit. The whole country is hurting, we feel for our friends, family and community partners in Italy, as we await our own fate. We are a bit frightened at the new reality we will find ourselves living in but we will do it together.

This warms my heart, just goes to show the attitude of my Italian family and friends. Let’s hold them close to our hearts. We can’t wait to go back and support our communities in Italy just as we will do with our communities here in B.C The bond between these two countries and our two communities is very very strong and we will all come back better and stronger.

Remember the good times that await, right now we struggle with dramatic change. In time we will adapt and thrive. That’s the nature of humanity.
