It's been a busy few months in Real Estate! I've been a Busy Bee getting families into homes! This Sold holds a special place in my heart. It's an honour to be part of the home buying process in anyone's life, but when I'm asked from a Family Member to be part of this journey, I'm extremely humbled. ... F & W, just purchased their dream retirement home in the Yorkson Condo community in Langley. With views of Mount Baker, an enclosed patio solarium and over 1100 sqft of space in this unit - they are over the moon happy to call this gem their new home. Very excited to hand over the keys in a few months! Thank-you for trusting me to help you find your dream retirement home.

I just got the news! I received the Master Sales Award at Royal LePage Wolstencroft. I am so incredibly grateful and humbled for this award. A huge thank you and appreciation for all of your referrals and trust in anyone that needed to buy and sell this past year. ... A big thank-you to my close bubble which includes my Mom, Maurice and my Husband without whom I would never been able to accomplish this achievement and especially during a pandemic. 2020 was definitely one for the books. In between having the kids at home until the Fall, become teachers , learning to conduct Real Estate business in a more different & safer way with new protocols in place, becoming a Zoom Meeting Master.... it was ALSO a monumental time for self reflection for a lot us. If 2020 has told us anything, it’s telling us to enjoy the moments we have and don’t take any day, anything or anyone for granted. Again, a HUGE THANK YOU and appreciation for all your support.

Happy New Year! Welcome 2021! Real Estate Market Statistic’s for December Are Here! Here’s all the details! In a year when the real estate market was at a standstill for months due to COVID-19, total annual sales in the Fraser Valley still finished 12.4 per cent above the 10-year average due to unrelenting, pent-up consumer demand during the second half of 2020. ... Here’s a little breakdown from the FVREB: - December sales were up 81.2% from the same month a year before. - There were 28 fewer homes listed than the previous year. - The benchmark price for a single-family detached home was $1,079,500. The Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver (REBGV) reports that residential home sales in the region totalled 30,944 in 2020, a 22.1 per cent increase from the 25,351 sales recorded in 2019, and a 25.7 per cent increase from the 24,619 homes sold in 2018. Last year’s sales total was 2.8 per cent below the 10-year sales average Here’s a little breakdown from the GVREB: - December sales were up 57.7% from the same month a year before. - The benchmark price for apartments increased 2.6 per cent in the region last year. Townhomes increased 4.9 per cent and detached homes increased 10.2 per cent - The benchmark price for all residential properties in Metro Vancouver was $1,047,400 As we enter 2021, with low interest rates and low inventory on the market, it’s never been a better time to consider selling your home. Today is a very special day in my family. Like many of you, both of my grandparents fought in the World Wars. Remembrance Day is when we all pause to reflect and remember not only our past, but to honour those who continue to serve and protect our Country. My father was a Warrant Officer in the PPCLI (Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry), and served many peacekeeping missions around the world. When people ask where I’m from, my answer is always everywhere. ... I am proud to be a part of a military community. I had the opportunity to live around the world and meet new people, but more importantly, I grew up knowing that my dad was making a difference. He kept the peace abroad, trained other soldiers to protect our country, and carried on the work my grandparents took on in WWI and WWII. Another part of being in a military family was that we were always continually active and, on the go, yes - always involved in typical sports, but my dad’s idea of fun was a 10km hike and completing an obstacle course. This may not be your typical family get-together, but it was ours. Now, I am doing my best to pass on the lessons to my own children: keep moving forward, help where you can, and honour those that came before you. Even though we may not be able to gather in person this year, please take a moment to remember. Let us honour the Veterans that came before us, and those that are still serving and protecting our country. Remembering Those Not Forgotten. Lest We Forget.
