My last trip of the year into northern Ontario produced my first ever lakers on the ice and what a day it was. Full video will be up on the Cast and Conquer YouTube channel Sunday at 7pm.

A few weeks ago i had the chance to chase small mouth bass with Antoine Desrochers-Gagnon and our day turned out to be nothing but extraordinary. Over 100 smallies landed and non stop action. I managed to loose my personal gopro footage off my head cam from corrupt files but still managed an awesome edit from what I had. Last day of the season and what a season it was. Thank you everyone that came out for a day and supported Cast and Conquer this winter. Looking forward to the open water season now and bookings are filling fast. My new PB musky on the ice. First day of the season for me with dead bait. Opened on the 20th of December for dead bait here in Quebec. The first fish of the morning ate as I was setting the line and took the ten inch mackerel right out of my hand. This fish will be tough to beat. Trips and days are available still through January and February to chase this unique Muskie through the ice bite. What a fish. I’m still in shock from this morning. 53 inch giant ate the dead bait out of my hand as I was setting the line. An epic battle pursued and we landed the fish and gave her a safe release.
