UPDATE on October 24, 2020 Every day I plan to do this. Do you ever put something off, and each day it's harder to do that thing?... Here is where we are. We do not have enough funds to make the 2,800 units we pre-sold, but, we are raising capital to build at least 10K or even 100K units. After COVID, we lost our small factory in China that would have built a smaller quantity. We have a USA manufacturer ready to go. Sometime in the next few weeks, we will begin to make ~25 Golden Masters to send to top tech writers and to Apple, Samsung, Google, etc. We will randomly select 5 of you to get and test one. After we show the Gold Master, we will try to complete our raise of $2,000,000 at Fundable.com The iPhone 12 has a MagSafe back, which means we can connect the castAway case very easily. Our case with the Universal Adaptor will fit ANY Android or iPhone so the size of the phone, the position of buttons/slots, or upgrades will not be a problem. We will survey everyone before we ship. Hello everyone. I wish I had better news. It has been a while since our last update. We are continuing to forge ahead with our plan for production in Wilmington, NC but have run into a delay with our financing. On the technical side, we also got a notice late last week from our screen supplier that the large screen size we selected has been discontinued. We are actively working to shore up both of these challenges but suffice to say shipping is slipping into the new year.... We are still hopeful of getting 20-30 "gold masters" built before Christmas for final testing and tuning. On a personal note, this is hard and exhausting. The team's tenacity never ceases to amaze me and what would be nice at this point is a lucky break. We all work for equity, none of us get paid. kgm
