Castor Curling Club: Update November 29, 2020 We are extremely fortunate to still be able to curl. The Castor Curling Club resides in Paintearth County which is currently an open zone. This means that we can continue to curl according to statements released by Curling Alberta. We must adhere to the strict Covid protocols that are in place as well as *new ones* which we are implementing to keep everyone safe.... Curling is a Covid friendly activity. Let’s keep it that way! If you are sick, STAY HOME!! (This also included waiting for a Covid test result, close contact to a positive case, or in anyway suppose to be in quarantine or self-isolating) Sanitize when entering the building or going out on the ice *Masks must be worn in the Lobby and are encouraged to wear on the ice Use team’s designated table Sign In Stay 6 feet apart as much as possible Bring your own equipment Only one curler may sweep a rock Skips are not to sweep any rocks *Designate one curler from each team to put the rocks away after each end Only one third between the two teams is able to put tp the score Sanitize rocks after each game Note: The lounge will continue to be open for those curlers who would like to purchase a beverage or snack from our bar. There will be a limit of the capacity as well as table restrictions, strict sanitization and social distancing protocols. Keep Calm and Curl On, Castor Curling Club Board
