Starting June 11, a new concert series called Alberta Spotlight will be launched. We are partnering with Alberta Music, the National Music Centre, Stagehand and... CKUA to bring you an at-home concert series featuring the best of Alberta music. Each concert will feature Alberta artists, live from their homes or studios, and will run weekly throughout the summer. We are providing funding to directly support local musicians. Many have lost income due to cancelled performances because of necessary public health measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Musicians can apply to perform through albertamusic.org. Watch the concerts from your living room by tuning into the broadcast at ckua.com or listen live on the CKUA radio network.
