Dear Friends & Family, As you all know, the last few days have been difficult to navigate and the ever-changing landscape of hospitality under the current conditions has made it impossible for our restaurants to remain open in any sort of traditional sense. Today the Toronto health department made the recommendation that restaurants close immediatelyand we have decided that it is best to follow this directive.... Effective end of service today, March 16, all Catch Hospitality restaurants will be temporarily closed. Over the past 20 years we have built Catch Hospitality Group into a wonderful group of restaurants that you have chosen for celebrations and gatherings with your friends and family, and we appreciate all the wonderful support. The nature of our business is to bring people together to enjoy good food and warm and friendly hospitality, but this is a time when it is recommended that non-essential gatherings be avoided as a threat to the health and safety of our community. We believe this decision is in the best interest of our guests, our staff, our suppliers and the public at large. We are currently exploring options that may allow us to offer takeout and delivery from the Firehall and we will advise of that in the coming days. To our guests and friends, In response to recent events around COVID-19 (coronavirus), we want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation and are taking all possible measures to protect the health and safety of our staff and guests.Our regular protocols for sanitation and hygiene already exceed industry and health department standards, and we are taking additional measures suggested by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the World Health Organization to e...nsure the safety of our guests and employees. Some of these additional precautions include the continuous sanitization of all surfaces: menus, chairs, tables, counters, restrooms, doors and handles are sanitized regularly throughout the day. We will continue to monitor the news and will adjust daily practices to keep our staff and customers safe, as recommended by the experts.Any changes in hours or events can be found on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Our existing protocol requires staff to stay home if they show symptoms of illness.
