A very special portrait session to commemorate Mom’s 50th. These girls left such a lasting impression on me. All exceedingly bright, sweet and kind. Their connection with each other and to their beautiful Mom was unmistakable. I could have photographed this family all day because you just can’t fake authenticity or connection and these girls had both in spades.

I rarely take behind the scenes pictures at shoots, but I couldn’t walk away from this holiday set up at @pretoloft without a least one keepsake. Preto Loft’s very own St. Nick of @openingnflowers created an Alpine Chalet studio backdrop that looks as MAGNIFICENT in person as it does in its promo pics. If I could move into this studio for the holidays I would! Most importantly though this studio photographs so beautifully my jaw literally dropped when I saw the family pict...ures I shot here this past weekend...in fact I may have squealed with delight when they loaded onto my screen! Holiday shoot season has left me little time to post these days, but I had to press pause this morning to share these smiling faces and a little extra JOY!
