With all our current kitties spoken for and our next group of adoptable cats arriving Wednesday November 25, we have decided to close for the week to focus on adoptions, take a much needed break and get ready for the next batch of newbies. We have been overwhelmed by the number of great applicants eager to open their homes and hearts to a kitty or two. If you are interested in adopting, please book a visit for November 25 or later, and we will see mew soon.

Ok folks, Jayla has done some computing, and she wants mew to know that we will not have any newbies arriving this Monday... after this batch of cuties is adopted out, the next group will be arriving Wednesday November 25th! We are in the last stretch of opening our second location for buns, The Bunny Cafe at Commercial and Venables! Shout out to Sammy’s family, who celebrated his one year adoptaversary from Catfe yesterday! I'm making this donation to the Feed the Kitty fund in honour of the one year anniversary of adopting my cat Sammy from Catfe on October 11, 2019. He arrived as a sweet 6 month old kitten, and quickly turned into a charming monster with an eye for getting into trouble. We love him to bits! *** UPDATE on Oct 28. Still looking, please snap a photo and call me when you see her. *** Please help share this. My home is destroyed by the fire. This is all... I care about now. Lost Cat Beloved family cat, lost during the fire on October 22 at Main/Broadway. We pray she ran off and is just hiding and scared. Hoping the Mt. Pleasant community can help find her and reunite her with her family. Small fluffy black/white cat, wearing red kerchief around her neck as in the picture. No collar or tag. Can’t get enough of this cuteness! This toy was donated by one of our wonderful customers, whose own cat was indifferent to it. Who knew it would be such a popular choice of bedding!

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for Junior, whom we officially adopted to be our resident Very Good Boy this past summer. His pawsitive presence is helping semi-feral sisters Bigfoot and Littlefoot to relax and start to feel comfortable here. I’m grateful to our big-hearted cat whisperers for coming up with a solution to keep the girls at Catfe while slowly, safely socializing them, in the hopes of finding them a forever home of their own. Since we introduced them to Junior this weekend, their demeanour has already started to change dramatically, and they no longer hiss or hide away when we make eye contact with them. They are loving playtime and food time, visits with kitties and even visits with the occasional human! Thank mew to @heartandsouldogandcatrescue for providing us with this opportunity to help them!

We would like to dedicate our donation in memory of our sweet Nimbus... Karen, Allison and Isaia Thank mew @karcaston and @allisoncaston for contributing to our Feed a Kitty fund in Nimbus’ name. And thank you for welcoming him into your home and hearts, giving him a safe, comfy, happy life filled with love. We are so grateful for your kindness and love for this sweet guy.

Greetings from the #Caturday crew! Catfe is open all long weekend, including the holiday Monday! It can get busy on holidays though, and remember, for your safety, we’re operating at half capacity. So make a reservation for Thanksgiving you’ll be thankful that you did!

So happy that Max has found his happy place... a quiet, safe home to call his own. Max has settled in well! He wanted to explore right away, I was surprised he didn't want to hide at all! I've set him up on a bar stool so he can sit next to me while I work, he still loves to steal my office chair though...and my chicken nuggets. Thank you guys so much for letting me adopt this funny boy! #wherearetheymeow

Just a quick update to let you know how happy we all are together Aullie is a sweetheart even though she likes to rip her toys apart and play with the decapitated remains! She makes us laugh everyday and is the sweetest thing. Thank you for helping us find each other. She has truly blossomed and is the most loving and sweet girl. She has stolen all of our hearts it’s like she was meant to be with us all along. We are so lucky!!! Thank you for your amazing work saving the animals. #wherearetheymeow
