Well. She's one of my favourite people on the planet. I met her when she was two years old, she wouldn't speak to me. I said, "but your cousin Pat really likes me", and just like that, we were besties. She makes every space brighter, she's funny and super nerdy and it makes my heart sing to know that she met her match! Jeff, you are a lucky dude, but something tells me that my sweet Julia is equally as lucky! Congratulations to these two beautiful people - I cannot wait to see you tie the knot!!!

I do love a winter wedding! Mother Nature slowed down right on time on Sunday to let Katie & Nate enjoy their big day. What a perfect, intimate wedding to keep us feeling warm and cozy!

One of my favourite memories from my own wedding is looking into the faces of our friends and family as I walked down the aisle into the church. The face that I remember the most is of a beautiful little toddler, with big brown eyes; she looked at me with a smile that seemed to light up the whole church. After the ceremony she shyly told me that I looked like Cinderella; she absolutely stole my heart! And here we are, now it's her turn to be the princess. I am beyond excited to think of this beautiful girl walking down the aisle next summer with her own Prince Charming! Meagan and Joey - this was a blast! Thank you for letting me share this with you. I love you like crazy!

Oh, brothers! Love this fun moment from last weekend's Mini Sessions. Big brother suggests that we take a picture of them pretending to throw snowballs at each other. I LOVE it when the kids suggest a shot, so away we go. Little brother for the sneak attack win!

A year ago today I was thrilled to watch Ashley and John tie the knot. Just before that fantastic first kiss, John wrapped Ashley in his family tartan before making their way out of the chapel. Last week I was over the moon to see that tartan again, this time to welcome their beautiful girl, Maeve Joan to the Forbes clan! Congratulations John and Ashley on a very productive first year together!
