Q & A Q: How can you offer sessions while socially distancing? A: Our clients and staff safety is a priority, we are offering counselling via phone sessions or our secure online platform.... Q: I am not Catholic, can I still access your services? A: Absolutely, we are a non denominational agency, our services are available to everyone. Q: Are you able to direct bill my benefits? A: We are able to direct several providers, please call and we can check on your individual provider. Q: Finances are tight right now, how much are sessions? A: Our sessions are $100.00 per hour however we offer a sliding fee scale. We want everyone to be able to access our services, regardless of ability to pay. Q: What kind of counselling do you offer? A: We have counsellors that provide services for all life Scenarios; family, marriage, children, individuals, teen. We have someone for everyone. Q: We work shift work and can not come in during the day, do you have evening counsellors? A: Yes, we are open Monday to Friday with evening appointments available. The $40,000 Emergency Community Support Grant to Catholic Family Services Society of Grande Prairie will ensure that the Youth Mental Health in School initiative is able to provide additional resources for our schools, students, parents, and teachers to cope with the anticipated influx of student mental health concerns and to come up with innovative ways to deliver services that will correspond to the ever-changing landscape in the wake of dealing with COVID-19. This program... will focus on providing information and resources that highlight the unique impact that this pandemic has created on our students and schools. We are proud to support community organizations serving vulnerable populations through the #ESCFund, administered in collaboration with @UWCCanada and @ESDC_GC. Together, we can keep our communities strong as they respond to #COVID19. #LocalLove

****SOLD OUT**** Thank you, Thank you, Thank You, we could not do this without our amazing community support! As part of our annual Spring Fling fundraiser we decided to do a draw. We had planned on selling the majority of our tickets before the event and having approximately 100 left for the day of. The tickets are $10.00 each and the prize is a $2000.00 travel voucher. The draw will be made March 21,2020 via Facebook Live Feed and then posting the video to our page. We are... hoping that we are able to sell the remaining tickets over the next few days so that we can use the profits as was intended to go toward our counselling services. These services for many will be needed more now than ever. We realise the the prize of travel is not what everyone is hoping for right now :) We will however hold the prize for the winner until the COVID crisis has passed so that you have a year after claiming your prize to redeem it. Wouldn't you love a vacation after all of the stress of this pandemic blows over?
